25+ years of company history
Conterra’s foundation was built on supporting the needs of our education system. The initial vision was to bring wide bandwidth connectivity and high-end capabilities to school districts across the country. But as this venture succeeded and our networks grew, we found that enterprise and wireless carriers could also benefit from the same network infrastructure.
Over time, we acquired smaller companies to expand our network and added hundreds of thousands of fiber strand miles in brand new, purpose-built, high-end fiber networks. As our bandwidth capacity widens, so does our ability to serve wireless carriers, enterprise customers of all types, and the wholesale market.
